One day, three heroes went to the pub, in a lonely town with not much around it. They sat down, talking for an hour or two about how the war was going, and about the latest episode of 'Heroes on ice!' But as the night drew closer, a loud rumbling could be heard outside. Screams rushed through the town, people shouting "OMG SAVE US!!!111one!!!1eleven!" and stuff. The three heroes rushed outside, and to their horror saw three tanks mashing up the town. "Oh noez, we must help!" Said the largest hero, a buff-man who held a bazooka in his hand. He charged forward and began firing his bazooka at the tanks. The man holding a knife simply said "I am so sorry..." and dissappeared. Leaving the man holding a Sub-machinegun standing in awe. What should he do? He decided to go and help the guy with the bazooka, He used his abilities to push the tanks back, but in the open areas around the town, it was useless, they would just come and try to run him over... while the bazooka destroyed many a-tank, the pushing abiltiy was just not effective enough in this open area, and the tanks were just too good with their repairs and speed to succesfully plant a TNT on them. The bazooka had taken down about five tanks now, and there was only one left. It turned towards the man with the SMG, he knocked it back. But it just regained control and started heading towards him. O_O <--- The guy's face. He was in real trouble now. The tank slammed into him, throwing him a few metres back. His legs and waist were crushed, and his spine was broken. But he lay on the floor, trying to hold on to his last moments. The man with the bazooka destroyed the tank. And then ran over to him, and the man who had disappeared re-appeared in front of him. "I... I can't feel my legs..." said the wounded soldier. "Shhh.. it's going to be ok." The dissappearing man said, as tears filled his eyes. "I could've saved you! I COULD'VE SAVED YOU!" the bazooka-dude shouted to the heavens. "No, the reload-time on your bazooka was... it was just too much." The wounded man said. "Why... WHY!?" Both the 'gunner' and the 'commando' cried aloud. "If only, *sniff*, if only you had a weapon... that could... actually do stuff against tanks, *sniff" WHYYY!?!?" The gunner held the soldier's hand. "I... wanted... one." Were the soldier's last words, as he passed into deathly slumber. ![]() Sad story over. But that soldier, ladies and gentlemen, he could've been saved! The Gunner's went on to invent a new anti-vehicle weapon for Soldiers. Ladies and Gentlemen, I offer to you: Karl's Kannon and Larry's Launcher!

National Name: Karl's Kannon Royal Name: Larry's Launcher Reload Time: 4 seconds Projectiles in Clip: 1 Skins: Up for debate. Class: Explosive. Purpose: To give Soldiers a way to deal with tanks in the open. Picture: Grenade Launchers

Attributes: Explodes on impact with anything it hits. Explosion: Bigger than that of a single grenade, or of a grenade spam 'nade: About 2m in diameter. Path: The grenade should arc, making it more difficult for an easy hit. This would require an arc type aiming-reticule, such as the one in a tank. Damage: Infantry
Direct Hit: 25 Damage. Critical Hit Bonus: + 3 Critical Hit Chance: 0.025 Damage Radius: ![]() Damage: Jeep

Thereby opening up a new world of possibilites to Soldiers, no longer are we the ground-bound class, no longer do we quiver in fear at the site of tanks on the horizon. No-longer do we hide behind Gunners, with their ultimate ability to do anything (lulz). Obviously, Gunners are still going to be more effective at killing tanks, (With their higher damage, ability to shoot straighter AND less reload time). But this will stand-in as a valid solution to the Soldier - Tank problem. And if any Commando would like to whine: Shush, you're not even supposed to meet tanks. This will make playing on vehicle maps that much funner for Soldiers, as I know a common reason that they don't is because of their ineffiency against tanks. This weapon, while not being OP, is a possible, capable and fun solution. Thanks for your time, discuss, sign. Do your thing. ![]() |
