I have been experiencing lately some trouble lately when loading a match. First I will let the game load up of course, then click the play now button. The Level loads up and the matches on that level play fine. Once the server has completed its rotation of that level, it loads into the next level on the list. The game starts loading but then freezes. I at first wonder why its taking so long to load, then do the good old fashion ctrl+alt+delete. The task manager reads its not responding. So I have to end task and restart the game.

I was wondering if anyone knew some of the troubles with this. I have a number of possible issues due to this as I run a wireless connection, I use a laptop, and I have AVG anti-virus (Im sure this combination isn't good for any gamer lol). I also run on Windows Vista.

If Anyone knows possible solutions to this problem, or know of a previous post that discussed this kind of situation, the help would be much appreciated. I've heard that it might be Punkbuster as well causing the problem.

Just out of curiosity.
Do you have a single, or Duo core processor?

Yeah. I get a little lag, but thats not really an issue. And I don't get punkbuster kicks. Its just that when I play the first map that loads (Example: Click Play Now, Game Loads BB). I play however many rounds are left on that. Then when the loading screen comes up for the next map on the server, then it freezes on me. So basically whatever first game I play on whatever map runs fine, then whenever I play a second game on a different map, it freezes while loading.

I have seen something similar with Intel Graphics chips.
Updating the graphics driver solved this for some users.

If you have an Intel graphics chip go here and use the driver update scanner to look for newer drivers.
http://www.intel.com/support/detect.htm

If you do not have an Intel graphics chip, then post your dxdaig.

I will look for a newer driver for you if you need help.

Good Luck

Code:
Card name: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570
Current Mode: 1280 x 800 (32 bit) (59Hz)
Driver Date/Size: 7/28/2009
Your monitors refresh rate is set to low.
The games engine requires 60Hz or higher to play.
Your graphics drivers are also quite old, you should go to Sony and see if some newer ones are avaliable.
