Today we are introducing you to a hero who has hit a marvellous milestone, and for that we will carve his name into the page of Battlefield Heroes.

Now it's time to meet the hero who purchsed the ONE MILLIONTH Battlefund item!

Who are you?
My name is Elwin, I'm a 31 year old electrical engineer from the Netherlands. (a.k.a "Masta K" in BF Heroes).

Where are you from?
Born and raised in a small village just west of Amsterdam. Looking out of my window, all I see are cows and air-planes. It is a nice urban\rural mixture.

What do you like best about Battlefield Heroes?
Just the sheer amount of fun. It isn't as "heavy" or "serious" as some others shooters. And the cell shading graphics give it a very relaxed look and feel. From the moment i found out you could fly planes with two of your buddies sitting on the wings, I was pretty much sold.

What’s your favorite class and why?
That would have to be commando, 'cause nothing beats a good ol' melee knife fight

What’s your favorite Battlefield Heroes outfit?
To be honest, i don't have one particular at the moment.

What other EA games do you like to play?
Even though it is a somewhat "older" game, i still very much enjoy Medal of Honor and the add-on packs. By now i know the maps like the proverbial back of my hand, but it still delivers many hours of fun. Battlefield '42 and BF2. So many fun hours in tanks driving over stuff. Still love how huge those maps are.

But the king of them all has to be the Half life series. I've been (re)playing it since the very beginning. (Yes I'm that old).
The gameplay and sheer amount of backstory are just amazing. But if I have to wait any longer for HL2: Ep3 I'll probably start frothing from the mouth.

srsly Gabe Newell, give me Ep. 3. ;-)

Do you have any favorite bands or music you like to listen to while playing?
As a Dutchie there is the inevitable techno\house music for fast paced racing games etc. For shooter and adventure games it is usually some form of Brit pop.

Do you have a strange hobby you’d like to share with the world?
I collect vintage electronics and take them apart just to see how they work. Hey, at least it's not collecting stamps.

What’s the nerdiest apparel you have?
Although it's worn down to the last threat, it has to be my Dr. Zoidberg T-shirt. (of Futurama fame). Anything with a Simpsons character on it makes a close second.

If you could be any game character, who or what would that be?
Hands down, no contest: Gordon Freeman. If I could be a bonafide badass scientist that is fighting off aliens with a crowbar, my life would be complete. Although the constant headcrab infestation would kinda suck I guess .

How does it feel to be the first ever Battlefield Heroes millionaire?
Well, there's no other way of saying it: It feels really, really good! Right now I'm one very happy camper.

What are the first things you will buy with your newfound wealth, in Battlefield Heroes?
Given the many, many kilometers i've covered in-game, i think i can do with a decent new pair of boots. Although I'll probably overhaul my entire wardrobe, and give myself a swanky new look.
