How to post in the CONTEST FORUM

This forum is for OFFICIAL and NON-OFFICIAL contests, they may include code giveaways, hardware, or other thing that relate to Battlefield Heroes.

  • Thread header should have [Contest] in the title.
  • Your contest must be fair and open to all.
  • Your prize should be clearly stated in the OP.
  • Your contest rules should be clear and concise.
  • Your prize must be free to the winner, with no strings attached.
  • Transference of physical items must be discussed outside the forums.
  • Use of Xfire is recommended, do not post real email addresses.
  • When contest is closed, edit your header and replace [Contest] with [Closed]
  • More guidelines may follow

  • The Battlefield Heroes Forum Rules apply, do not post ALL IN CAPS, do NOT mis-title or 'rick=roll your subject headers. The title must be clear and descriptive to the contest.

  • Item codes can be gifted in contests, though they can NOT be sold, bought, bartered or traded. Posts that reflect such content will either be edited, removed or deleted without notice. If you should see such an infraction while you visit this forum please use the REPORT button in the post and let us know about it.

  • Please, do not post your email addresses in the forum, please use Xfire to finalize any transaction. Posting emails has (unfortunately) brought out some bad elements from our community and several players have been scammed out of their accounts, money and prizes, so we ask that you not give out personal and account information. If such a transgression occurs, there is not much we can do here on the forums. If it concerns your account, you can use the Customer Service options to get that corrected and please use the REPORT button to let us know.

  • "Doctor Pepper" related issues, should you experience them on the Doctor Pepper website, should be resolved with THEIR help support. The Battlefield Heroes forum and EA customer service does not have the ability to address issues created on other websites.

This F.A.Q. may be updated in the future, so check back every so often. You may ask questions about this forum in this thread. Smile

Apply a Full Edit to your contest thread, ForeverNMan. There is a white box on the Subject line which you can change. That should allow you to edit the thread title and inform people the contest is closed. Smile

Quoting the whole block of rules is hurting me. [Image: noes.gif] You can apply a Quick Edit to your post and get rid of it. Editing is quite handy. Smile

Just a little question... If I don't live in the USA and I get a Dr Pepper code, how do I redeem it?

..Or a faster way is to press and hold down on your forum title, and you will be able to edit it.

You can still try to ine a contest or go to the SPIKE TC page and generate a code for yourself, anyone can do it.

Dunno, this is not a thread about PTE.
PTE is turned on when they want to test something, so there is no posted schedule.

I have a question: What happens if there is only one entry for a contest? Does the prize go to that person?

At least you used search... Good man...

If there's only one entry in the contest and no one else joins then yes. The prize does go to that person.

Being behind a computer screen or a TV screen doesn't give you the right to treat others badly. This is why most people act all "Cool" and make fun of people or say "You made this thread just to tell us that? Ok" doesn't mean you're the coolest guy around. The Community needs to lighten up and get their act together and stop being mean or trying to act "Cool" by trying to be a moderator to other people when they want to share their stuff. Either say something nice or don't comment at all...

Well I did participate in a contest last year.. for a 10$ paysafecard.. I was the only one to entry the contest.. and actually worked pretty hard for that.. He just told me that no one else participated so there are no entries to choose from.Undecided
