sr-sniping is extremely difficult and requires alot of skill and very few people i know can pull it off successfully. I have extensive experience of it, and the slightest mistake or missfire and you are dead. Since at close range- you chance of escaping alive is minimal (not counting tonic spam).

If you dont kill the enemy withing 2 seconds (which only happens if the enemy moves predicatbly and your aim is perfect)
the enemy gets out of scope and your PS5 is finished. The enemy BB5 or GS5 you or RPG you to heaven and you are dead. SR sniping is the most difficult range, and definetly not something you see very often, since its very difficult. Show me a video of a sniper, successfully sr sniping lvl30 experienced gunner and i will gift you 12k funds.

Fast rifle is not difficult at all. If you find it difficult that's only because you have bad sniper aim.

I don't have video proof, but I have made people like FrenchyFry RQ b/c of my fast rifle (it's perfect for making good players rage).

But i definately dont think that the slow one is harder. Rather easier than that.

The slow one is easier in the sense that you have a lot of chances to take out your opponent in 1 shot (doing almost 80 damage with 5 PS), while the fast rifle requires you to land shot after shot. But it's harder to land successive bullets with the slow rifle than it is with the fast rifle, which is what makes it more difficult (higher recoil, slower RoF).

In the end, its all about the practice. In the average scenario, the faster rifle (especially on lower ranges) deals more damage, but the higher kill ability, especially in the optimum case definately lies with the slow rifle.

Also, the major factor of personal prefrences and skill level always plays a great deal. And I dont get why people are still arguing about that ._.

BTW: where can i see the frikkin Forum stats of somebody else? I feel like I´m totally mentally slower than "average"

Since I wasnt sure which weapon to play myself, I was finally able to agree on a solution with the SV 98 and the panzerhunter. Its actually ossum, u shud try it some time :]

Whoa dude, take it easy...

The following things you can't know, but with some proper thinking you also might have found out.

As you see my sniping stats, I have got some snipers which have crap stats, and 1 with good ones.
Following fact(which you couldn't know): The ones with the crappy stats where from the time when I was a low lvl.
The ones with good stats are from a short while ago, when I got a fast sniper from the claw.
It was the first time in more than a year I used the sniper, and I got THAT score with it...
Also, I was perfectly capable of short-range sniping.
So, conclusion: Sniping is too easy, if -->I<--, (Yes, EVEN me, with one of the most laggy pc's around) can get a kd of 127-24.

127-24!!!!!111one one!!1!! That's ridiculous, thats why I think it should be nerved.
Also, when I play with other classes or non-sniping commando (I detest sniping, thats true), those are the 2 kind of snipers who are giving the most trouble.

Campy snipers, who ruin the whole gameplay (admit it, no game will ever run good if there is a sniper camping, making an area of the battlefield getting stuck)
And snipers who snipe close range, because they kill you without you even giving time to react.
Ok, I understand that the principle of most commando setups is exactly not giving the opponent time to react. But as snipers are actually ment for long range, not the close range, where gunners and knifers should excell. I think it should have a sweetspot making it only a viable option at long range.

In lower lvls, there are more campers than in higher. So I guess, as I am experiencing campers more often, you shouldn't blame me for that reason... hmm?

Actually there's more camping at higher levels. At low levels, most people are just running around and shooting anything that moves.

Hmmm, yea. Maybe your right. The computer itself ain't real slow. It's actually quite fast. But as soon as I start bfh I can't open the mail, browsers shut down themselfes, and the people in-game run like standing here. FREEZE!!! Stand 10 meters away. (This is especially awkward when knifing, you stand there and knife the heck out of the air )

Anyone has an idea why fraps shuts down at random times?
Also, when I tried to watch the video's I made, the PC got stuck/freezed. So I had to start over, it is now making a huge noise...
