You are going to have to face your fears and get onto that Battlefield... but you can't just go onto any Battlefield... no. To unlock your rewards you must complete these set goals before Tuesday 1 November 09:00 UTC Halloween T-Shirts To earn these cool rewards you will need to WIN 10 games on the new map Perilous Port using a faction specific hero for faction specific t-shirts (Ranked servers only) Golden Machetes To earn these battle ready trophies you need to accumulate 1000 regular Machete kills. That's right... simply grab a regular Machete in game and go and hunt those pesky enemies. In order to get the prized Golden Machete you will first need to purchase a regular Machete in game. After you have done that unleash your inner evil and hack away on the battlefield.

Do I need to get 1000 kills with the machete on a single Commando?
Yes. You need to get 1000 kills with the machete on one of your Commandos.

Can I get the Golden Machete for all my Commandos or just once?
You can only redeem each of Golden Machetes once per account. However, when you redeem it you can give it to any of your Commandos of the appropriate faction. It doesn’t have to be the one that got the 1000 kills.

How do I get the Machete on both my National and Royal Commandos?
Getting 1000 kills with a commando will only unlock the Golden Machete for that faction. If you want the Golden Machete on both faction commandos you need to get 1000 kills with commandos from each faction.

Can I use Poison Blade to get my Kills
Yes and No. Having Poison Blade active does not void your kills but if the Poison Effect kills you enemy then it will NOT count as a machete kill. You can still use it cause extra damage to your target, just make sure that your blade lands the final blow and not the effects of Poison Blade.

i dunno about this. i know we have several days time, but 1000 kills with a melee weapon seems steep. really steep.

i've played for many hours on most of my heroes, and for the most part even their most used weapons have only (barely) double the requirement. so to get 1000 kills in only a few days... i don't i'm willing to spend so much time.

*edit* i just checked, turns out that we cannot rent without battlefunds. i'm not going to spend about 5$ to get that machete, and afterwards have a chance to get a reskin of it. thanks, but no thanks. guess i'll be playing with my supply drops, these 2 weeks.

The Machete seems like to have the damage of a normal knife, but its much slower than a knife. This weapon is not worth the battlefunds I left at the shop.
