Excuse me, good sir in charge of the thread... I myself have made a Megathread for Abilities Suggestions, and I would like it if you could place it in your OP. I've chronicled the ideas of the many posters in my thread, and categorised them according to who uses them. If you would be so kind as to place the link to it in your OP, i'd be rather pleased.

Jolly good. Hopefully now there'll be a bit more ideas that might get seen. Might mean a bit more work for me, though. I'd probably not be able to update the OP for a few weeks, since i'll be overseas and away from the net circa Thursday.

I have to say that I like your idea, to give suggestions in a friendly way. I have to say I was a bit angry at first. But suddenly I saw the light and have to say I understand a lot of the changes (At least buy something for your account..., to much freeloaders playing this game.). But on the other hand, I really dislike the new VP pricing. It went from cheap to VERY expensive....., it should be somewhere in the middle. But that's just my opinion. I still feel love for this game.

I found a thread with the idea of VP #3 (gametime rental) which has precedence of time over mine.
Some more formulas and justifications (advantages / disadvantages)

Yes, I saw it as well. The difference between yours and his (and I like Para btw) is that he needs to tone his down a bit, make it less of a complaint and more fully a suggestion.

If anyone is going to lay down solid numbers based on factual data, it's going to be the devs first.

So, once he cuts a couple sentences out, I'll happily add it - but what do you want done with yours?

As you can see, I maintain mine and try to link to the duplicates with a mention as to what has been discussed into them. I'm happy my thread is included here and I'll do my best to keep it up to date. I'll get the maintenance up a bit by editing the first post (merge my replies) when I have a little more time. I was never going to remove your thread, it's stated very well. Also, Para still has to change his wording before I follow through so if he's not listening, yours is the main topic to go to.

Very good thread! Helps the EA staffs find suggestions instead of go through all the trouble of clicking through pages over and over again.

I would like to promote a sub-class suggestion created by Wyllie here.

He has a good proposal overall, but he's diluted it with far too many unrealistic details. I've seen some other similar threads and I'm tempted to add my own general fill-in for them since they keep making the same mistake.

Btw, if Wyllie cuts the fat out, I'll reconsider.

I'd prefer mini-titles to give at least some indication of what it's about.

I agree with mini-titles, maybe even with a short description of the idea. Creation date or last reply date is not much relevant.

I suggest something like this :

Abilities :

1. SmirnoffJoe : Ability suggestion list gathered from several sources
2. OrangeSoda26 : Adding a level 6 which gives passive traits
3. Wyllie : Adding health information to soldiers HUD for the medic emote
   

It might be too much like a wall however. I like how simple and minimalistic the layout is.

The reason why I've avoided adding descriptions so far is because once we start hitting higher numbers of links, the page will start getting stuffed.

Also, I believe the devs may be interested when more ideas are added to let's say one of the megathreads sp that's why I think it would be a good idea to show when it was last updated. And if someone sees one that has been and I haven't taken note of it, then they can inform me anytime.

So here's a good compromise:

I'll keep the numbers as they are, and I'll add a code box with the details of each number as a key . . . sound good?
