Ok you can change your player or hero name for so many battlefunds.
How about changing a hero's class, how do you accomplish this?
When this comes out of BETA if ever...
will we all start over in the ranking system?
will everything have to be redone like creating heroes and classes for each?

We are in a soft-release state iirc. Wyllie posted contradictory information, though, so maybe not.
There is currently no way for a player to change their character's class, but the idea doesn't sound bad.

We are actually more like in open beta than a soft release.

How about you just create a new account?
When I created my heroes it said I needed to pick another name when in fact the hero I chose first was created. If I had known that I would've created just one commando. Not allowing us to delete heroes that were caused by their own bug is not really fair, is it?

I must totally agree and then they say make a new account...
I don't believe the option of switching classes will ever come, personally I rather not have it come either. If it did, there would be no need to create more than 2 heroes, 1 for royal and 1 for national since you could change your class whenever you pleased.

I reckon if they are not open to deleting heroes then they could at least look at resetting them.
This would mean you lose all your points, win/loss/kill records, etc, everything that the particular hero has accumulated and basically you start again and have the option to reselect your class and faction.
It would be great to be able to reset at least 1 of my heroes so I can pick a different faction. All my heroes on the National side, I would like to have one on the Royals for the experience of playing the maps from the opposite side.
Just go to the top right corner and make a new hero.
