Hey Solid,
The video was quite fun. Made me want to try the old knifer style out again. But I state, it was fun. I still have serious doubts about the knifer commando being as good killing machine, as a sniper can be.
8 - 1 score, it's nice, it's okay.
But as for the video itself, it proved to me once again that to be a "good" knifer you need (in addition to skill) alot of luck & alot of luck you had.
Best of luck to you, may your knifing spirit never run out and thank you for posting the video and not editing it (frag movies are boring).
If you decide to do a new and more impressive video, make sure it's visible to everyone, I'd love to see it.
Take care!

Thank you! Yes, knifing commandos need a lot of luck and randomness for them to gain a positive score. Also, its more fun than the sniper and you feel really pro when managing to sneak past the foes lines and stab them one by one.
Fail knifers should really look at this guide to get an idea on what they should be doing. Far too many times I've taken you guys out at close range with pistols or a nice rifle shot.
they always try to go for the kill too soon and they get a few holes in their head because of it
Nice...as a knife commando I use a lot of these strategies. I don't use elixer or TT, but that's simply because my level is still 15,and I spent my HP on stealth and PB, and I have some policies regarding TT(just because I have bad memories of Claymores and APMs). A couple notes, elixer is great for a getaway, but I'll simply whip out my pistol and finish you then, whenever someone pops a bandage it's a good indicator thier health is low, easy prey, I also target those who are using long range guns, as they make easy kills when they try to counter by spraying and praying...I do make a point of avoiding shotguns...
hello. very nice guide. i just started to play with a "Knifer". i have a question... if any of you would be so kind to help me out

Is it matters that where do i aim/stab with knife? for some reason, i mostly damage only below 10 or so...
what am i doing wrong?

You actually gets some minor hit if you miss, just stand as close as possible and commence the knifing. (watch the knifing round and youll see.)
Nice guide. I like that playing style. When I was knifing, I noticed that if you aim for the head you can get 60 damage.
I managed 73 once in the back of a soldier. Totally random hitboxes.
Nice guide but I'm still against guns.
Commandos aren't meant to be middle ranged.
Guns are cheating.

What Score do you mean? k/d ratio in a game?
Okay then i will have to improve, im just at 1.1720, saw you got 1.6xxx. Hope with my actual fights in the database i go to 1.3 or something like that. When will my account be updatet? Every 24h?
Thank you for the guide/vid Solid Snail!
I'm wondering if you can make a Abilities per Level chart.
For example:
Level 2: Stealth
Level 4: Stealth
Level 6: TT
...
Because I have no idea if I should go 5/5 stealth before anything else?
Also you said:

Gerhats greatest is actually "very long" range pistol, the one with "long" range is Ludwig's Loaded (for nationals). Is it only a typo or.. ?
By looking at the stats:
![[Image: pistols.png]](http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/2003/pistols.png)
I find the Short range pistol to be the best. Because when you use Pistol against an enemy knifer, he is usually in medium range or short range but not close enough to knife you.
But again, I never played knifer so I'm not saying it is better, I would like to know your reasons behind your pistol choice.
Instead of running 20 seconds behind an enemy to get a good chance to knife him I prefer to use the rifle to get my kill in 1 second. So i have 19 seconds to kill some others.
I dont like knifers coz i got the feeling they dont help the team as much as they could with commando. I hate if they sneak around in my team and dont help me when im under fire coz they wont come out of stealth.
The gunner up the roof could be shooted faster than jumping up there and knife him. Although its funny^^
The commandos at Coastal Clash are easy to kill in 1 second or less instead of starting a 20 second chickenrun again.
Just my opinion. Nice guide anyways.
Nice, even tho most is somewhat obvious: >
@Benoit, I use the longest range pistol because it deals 20+ dmg to enemy snipers, and you can easily outsnipe them. its also very good against anything too busy to care about you. ( kill stealing <3)
@Hans, Thats not knifing, thats camping. Running around stabbing people is much more fun than simply aim and click.

And maybe it can convert certain snipers to be more knife-ish.

Have fun.
EDIT: Gameplay of me knifing around here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDsj3cNNYHQ
I also tried a round with mark target. The result? 13-0 on SS
Can you please put the guide on a different website because I can't watch it.
