I remember the Super/Uber knifes being the first choice as a melee weapon about a year ago but has that changed? Are other knifes like the new Knight's sword or the Machete considered better?
I'm loving my sword, and actually having better results with it for the most part, but everyone considers knives better. I recommend sword cause it's hella fun though

They are both the same like machete, senseis striking edge & those new swords...overall I prefer uberknife.

I like the super/uber knifes more than the machetes and swords. Thats because they are a faster.
That fits me better becuase I am not supergood yet, so I dont get every hit on them so then its good to have something fast.
So it depends on your playing style a lot.
Super and uber knife....!!
The super/uber knifes are still the best but the Orbital punch/Stellar strike are re-skins of them and they apprently don't make any sound.
Orbital punch. Reskin of Super Knife. Except it is dead silent. There for better than super knife.
But.... In a fight with both seeing the other target. A machete/katana/sword wins versus a super/uber knife.
You just gotta utilize the range. Then a super/uber knifer is dead.
With that being said. I prefer machete but orbital is better.
