I know this is the second thread i make today, but apparently there are alot of power corrupted youngsters with BFH servers. Oh and for those who wonder how to get the IP of a server? Just use Wireshark to sniff the packets while connecting

I am looking for the owner of:
Multiplay :: Alpha + Mr.Tree
IP:85.236.105.26 PORT:18967
So that i may request my ban lifted. Friend got kicked once without reason (had the best score on our team). Another guy got kicked right after for the same reason, i guess (he was 2nd on the scoreboard).
Oh well, friend rejoins, the pwning continues. Suddenly another friend of mine and i gets banned with faked punkbuster messages and first friend gets kicked.

Got 5. min long video proving some of this (the ban + 5 mins of gameplay before that) in case nobody lifts the ban. I might as well ask now: Where do i submit such a video? I guess i can write Multiplay. Even if my ban gets lifted i still think they should recieve some kind of warning or notice.

If you have proof that it actually is THAT server which u are talking about, then u should send it to vitalbullet I think...

This sounds like a case of Admin abuse. Although it is not advised to post player's names here.
If you have screenshots, video, or anything solid that can prove this please supply it in a report, along with your friends name. ect...
If you know the profile of an Admin of the server, you can use the players profile to file a report.
Assuming this information is accurate, this server owner could face a penalty.

If you have found that someone is not behaving correctly, or abuses our rules, use the report function in the player profile and do NOT open a thread about that in the Forums.

I have the video, i just can't be bothered to upload it (0.768Mbit upload) if it can be resolved in another way. I don't know who issued the bans and kicks as they were using either a tool or hidden commands |kick instead of /kick.

Oi and while we are at it. How do i prove that the video i recorded is in fact from the server i'm claiming it to be? The server name is shown at the start of each round, but that can easily be spoofed with a server owned by oneself. This also rules out recording even before you join the server (show it in bookmarks etc). Really there is no way for me to prove that the video i provide is from the given server/ip.

I guess this post will just serve to remind/log this case of possible admin abuse. Someone might find it with the search-function and add their experience : )

You bring up good points here WioWao.

As it stands, The only way they can really do anything about admin abuse of the type you speak of, is if you have video proof.

Your information about the server could help support the proof, and gain you some ground as to solving the issue. Obviously it is possible to lie about this, and fabricate an elaborate tale..
however my assumption is that if you are indeed not telling the truth, those responsible for the investigation would detect this.
