I received a few days ago, the battle rifle.I am satisfied
What do you think, that I buy now or wait dotd.
setup-battle rifle+lr shoutgun or pp?
what do you think about this?

Well, if its your game style i shall buy it...

No, it does not help.

munemdobro, the short range sub-machine gun is your best bet for close to medium range combat on a soldier. As Alpha.Ace already stated, this means either the M16, AK74, Rudolf's Rescue, or Tommy's Typewriter. Super/Uber versions are only slightly better.

playing stily with M16, AK74, Rudolf's Rescue, or Tommy's Typewriter + lr pistol is so predictable and boring!
should always take risks and try something new!
if anyone has an idea for a new setup?

ITT: 2-3 People who can't compensate for a bit of recoil / aim. There won't be a deal of the day for it any time soon so if you want to buy it then just buy it. (There was already a DoTD for it a while back so don't expect another one)

Grenade launcher was useless.rifle is best for medium-distance,for close combat use bs.lr pistol for pesky mandos and you got to go!
The biggest problem is price of gun.Wait for dotd!

The battlerifle can take a bit of getting used to with it's kickback and semi-auto fire. But, lemmy tell ye, when properly handled, you can drop a gunner in a clip or so simply due to the fact that most of your shots will hit the target.

I've been using battle rifle quite some time and I gotta say it's not that bad some people think. Seriously you can outgun anyone, even a gunner with (in)famous cheeser, as soon as you master the recoil. And don't expect the nade to be as good as hand grenade.
But one thing is sure, the battle rifle is too expensive and you can play just fine with sr smg, which is a lot easier to use. Either wait for a discount or try to get it from the claw.
I love it when you kill a full health gunner in seconds with br's criticals and help of a nade

The recoil and the lower damage at close range make the battle rifle near useless against frenzy firing gunners at close range, this is why I prefer the SR SMG instead, so I can actually win fights with frenzy firing gunners up close(which I do for the challenge).

Oh, no denying that it's a pain / worse to use up close just due to the fact that it's semi auto to begin with and also the lower damage per hit, my comment was just aimed at some who just called it outright bad meanwhile it does decent at what it's supposed to do, mid range.. I usually roll around with the battle rifle and the SR SMG, so frenzy fire gunners are still the usual toss up. Though I do think in mid range (mid range is 25 "BFH meters"?) the battle rifle is better because of its accuracy, but that's also just my preference.

Although a bit pricey, the battle rifle is a decent weapon.

its O.K. i got it in the claw forever and ive tried it. its good to use if i get bored with the sr smg
