Can you make them as a desktop-icon too?
do you mean icon of a shortcut on the desktop?
if so, yes.
download BFHeroes-C3NTURiO.zip and extract files to somewhere on your PC, then select one of the .ICOs as the shortcut's icon.
I didn't realize you could do transparencies on ico's.

yes we can. Icons can have tranparent pixels and their transparency levels can be different. so we can have gradient shades.

I think the stroke is too visble on the splatter one, turn the opacity down a little.
Otherwise I would say it looks good
