Hi,
To be honest I don't know how one person can handle all the hackers unless only a handful of people submit reports. Why not search for sites online that are spreading hacks and try to block those hacks (maybe by updating punkbuster) after inspecting them... I think something like that can be done...

As a player I want to play fairly with other players and until someone develops an effective anti cheat I can only dream of fair game play.
This announcement although welcomed, does nothing to "prevent" cheating which is a widespread problem in BFH.
Prevention should be the priority, and if done right cleaning up the trash will be a trivial matter to deal with.

Actually it does, it lets everyone know that we are outright stomping down any person that unfairly uses 3rd party advantages within our game. Pair that with our other announcement of

Moelajn will be reviewing your video evidence, which as AmazinDave stated there was some issues with the communication between the team and Customer Service and to rectify that, Moelajn will now take over the work of reviewing the reported videos.
Throw this in with the continuous efforts of Even Balance (Creators of Punkbuster) and 3rd party help from GGC as well as some hard working community members like Pedro and XTIAN, the situation is becoming somewhat manageable.
HOWEVER we cannot do this alone people, we need your help as well, which is why we ask for video evidence. Unfortunately we do not have eyes in every server, which is where video evidence comes in. By also following instructions,
here and reporting them to Moelajn via PM, you help not only us but your fellow community with this plague.
Of course, again as AmazinDave said, this is only the beginning
In the last few days i found 4 hackers when i decided to play my mando again, this is really beggining to bug me.

Videos are only useful for blatant cheaters who when banned create another account and roam chaos again.
Nothing is being done about those who cheat discretely / professionally and thats why we need effective preventative measures. Furthermore, so many skilled players are being unfairly treated and kicked off servers because people think they are cheating.
Why are we in this mess?
...because punkbuster is known to be inadequate to deal with cheating, it doesnt detect the latest and greatest, it doesnt detect the oldest and private, and there is a vast hacking community working against punkbuster.
Punkbuster is like a very bad anti virus software. Valve realised that and switched to their in house anticheat VAC long ago.
I would gladly help submit videos but only if you start taking serious steps to stomping out cheating.
At the moment you are working backwards, video evidence should be a safety net, not the first line of defence.

You do realise VAC is Punkbuster, just altered to work with Steam etc.

Punkbuster still does not work that well.. if VAC works better is irrelevant because its been stated it was altered.... if we need EAsy to get inhouse video reviewers to ban people.... it shows something is very wrong xD and that is more EA's fault imo for their policies(evidence needs to be reviewed)...
