The war was fought about 50 years later after Njord's involvement in the Icos Incident. Not 150 years later... I think you can get around this one, since I got the flu and I don't really think too straight.)
I shall explain. Fiord was already alive at the time of the Icos Incident. As was his father and his grandfather, Njord. Njord really showed his face in the RP, so I can keep this. His son never appeared in any RP, so it fits. This allows Fiord to be two centuries old. I rest my case.)

Lewis awoke and brushed his teeth early. He got on his battle suit and checked his ammunition. He was ready, but for the next few hours, what would he do?

(I simply explained in my last post exactly how Fiord could be 213. At first glance, it makes no sense. When I explain his family's timeline, it might become clearer. Thanks for listening.)
Fiord realized he had forgotten to replace his helmet. He pressed a button on his neckguard, and his helmet began to reshape itself. The first pieces folded up from his neck, sliding additional pieces and finally securing them together with built-in titanium armor-locks. His HUD flickered to life in front of him.
"Aurora, please keep an eye on the camp for me. I'm tired. I need rest."
A female voice echoed in his head. Yes, Sergeant-Major. Will do.
(Kistoul would consider this 'heresy', taking the idea of Cortana from Halo and putting it into a WH40K-based world."

(You play sci-fi war games alot now don't you?)
24-02-2011, 04:22 AM
(Actually, yes, I do. I've got a collection of WH40K books (Kistoul has more...not for long), Dawn of War I and II, a few squads of Space Marine figures for the table-top battle game (unfinished painting them...I need to get on that), and I'm also planning on getting the Game "Space Marine" when it comes out. Here's the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnfniAbzYX8 G'night.)

(Sorry I am late.)
Siren bells were ringing all among the base camp. It was time to go to war. Cold water sprayed into the faces of all men in Vector company, their captain shouting at them to get up and arm up. The first wave of the invasion had just left, and Vector company, one of the ten companies in the second wave, is scheduled to set off in half a Terra-hour.
The landing field, filled with gunships ready to bring the second wave right into the teeth of the fighting, was swarming with men doing last minute checks. The barracks were roaring with the sounds of men arming themselves and strapping on armor.

(The others are sleeping like little babies. Don't you think it is time to wake them up? *Evil look*)

(Alright)
Lewis took two pans and started to pound them together. (Striking them together to cause noise)
"EVERYONE WAKE UP! GET READY! WE ARE INVADING IN HALF A TERRAN-HOUR! C'MON LADIES LET'S MOVE! SIRS! HELP ME WAKE 'EM UP!" Lewis screamed as he hit the pans together repeatedly.

Alfimi had experienced these sudden awakenings countless times before in training. The commando punched the top of the lower bunk the moment the sirens wailed, having had to destroy several combat droids on the spot in the past. Already in the standard commando underarmor while sleeping, Alfimi quickly rolled off the bunk and reached back in to grab the circular manipulator unit next to the two blades by the pillow. With an sense of urgency, Alfimi placed it on a marked spot on the flexible armor, creating an painfully audible snap in the air amidst the frivolous activity of the other soldiers. The rest of the armor was located in the large weapons locker, where a crowd of men also had their equipment. Alfimi ran to it and acquired the armor plates, the MNGS rifle ("...Many like it...but I like this one...") and the rest of the uniform. This particular locker was unusual in that it had no mirror, seemingly broken and never replaced.

Vlad was in a a glorious medow. A meadow, made of flowers. But these were not just any flowers, these flowers, were made of pure chocolate. As he skipped merrily eating chocolate flowers, he stopped to get a drink out of a river, made completely out of soda. He slowly bent down to drink when cold liquid suddenly shot at his face...........
"GAAAH!" Vladimir yelled as he was blasted in the face by icy cold water. Being slightly disorientated, he fell off the top of his bunk and landed with a thud, followed by one of his mines he used to prop up his pillow, it landed on his head. Shakeing the sleep and water from his face, and and rubbing his head, he saw that everyone was running around and gearing up for the invasion. A simple alarm would have sufficed he thought. After taking some pain killers for his head, Vlad groggily went to the armor locker, put on his standard issue special ops. armor, grabbed the mine that hit his head, secured his energy blade, (his father had drilled him into takeing the dang thing with him everywhere) and picked up his trusty Shock Cannon.
He yawned exiting the barracks. One thing he loved more than heavy weapons, was sleep. The idea of it, the process, everything...........
(Cold water to the face? That is pure evil! EVIL!)

When the sirens sounded, Fiord awoke from his sleep at his post outside the barracks, rubbed his eyes, and immediatly stood up and began collecting his equipment.
He picked up his carbine from its place against the wall and slung it across his shoulder, then procedded to sling his combat rucksack over his shoulders and jogged off to find where he was stationed.
He stopped at one of the officers, who eyed Fiord intensely, even though Fiord stood far over him. "Name?" he asked.
"Fiord."
"Last name?"
"It's just Fiord."
"Uh huh..." the officer replied as he flipped through a notepad. "Here we go, you're assigned to that gunship to my right, number three-hundred and twenty-four. Good luck."

Gunny awoke from his sleep and grabbed his Warp gun and his knife.
"Get to the gunships!" someone shouted. He went into the barracks and saw Lewis clanging pans waking everyone in the barracks.
"Get ready! Let's get to the gunships!" Gunny shouted as he gestured them to move. Lewis was already ready and dashed out of the door. Denley ran out next.
"Get to the gunships! We will meet at the battlefield!" Gunny shouted at them.
"Try to get #122-128 as your gunship so we can reform faster," he added as he got out of the door. He got to an officer who asked for his name.
"Toby Winchester, gunnery sergeant," he replied. The officer gave him the okay and he went onboard the #122.
