Ah yes, sorry if I didn't get your statement the first time. Anyways, yes, many people don't get certain jokes or take them to extremes. As for this community it can be both at times, but we all can agree that this community takes everything to extremes. Whether it be a serious event (Such as 9/11, in which I took the time to make a thread to honor that day only to get bashed by many people on how self-centered I am because of my patriotism towards America. The thread was deleted off the face of the earth the next day as if it never existed. Well I do. Really I feel like I am the only one writing in this barren wasteland. But I know of other people who write stories here as well, but just a few who actually take it seriously. Dogiedude just finished writing his story and that was one of the few who wrote alongside with me.
Now the list of people shortens as if no one wrote at all.

Coal and charcoal. They both have the same texture, same properties, and same usage, but one piece of coal/charcoal can be used to mass produce 8 more charcoal. I personally find charcoal as an asset to my society.
