Enhance pointer precision is a Windows feature that adds acceleration to your mouse movements, meaning Windows will speed up and slow down your cursor based on software, it leads to inconsistent accuracy and should be disabled, I plan to update my guide to show the difference between the feature being on and off.

That looks like the mouse isn't being detected, try a different USB port and ensure you have the latest driver/firmware from Razer.

In most cases, lower sensitivity is better as it simply grants greater precision at range, but higher sensitivity such as 1500 or 1800 DPI is certainly beneficial when managing the LR sniper rifle's recoil and fast maneuvers at close range.

There is also a difference between windowed and fullscreen mode; or at least there seems to be. On fullscreen mode, the game seems to be much more responsive than the same sensitivity on windowed mode. I've been swapping between fullscreen and windowed mode for the past days, and it really feels different.

i have 19 inch LCD screen my windows resolution is 1360*768 @60 hz
my ingame resolution is 800*600 @75 hz (i have an old PC can't make better)
what DPI is best 4 me 800,1600 or 2200
my mouse is speedlink styx gamming laser mouse but sadly i can't adjust DPI from the software
it's either 800 1600 or 2200
what's the recommended DPI and sensitivity 4 me?

Always go for 0.1 sensitivity in-game and the lowest DPI you are able to do a quick 180 and otherwise generally comfortable with.

If the community requests it, I will update this guide with more techniques.

hey m8 i've got prob., i have CM inferno and i rly love it. Problem is i had 3/11 mouse sens before installing inferno drivers app, now when i changed it to 6/11, every time i restart computer and open inferno app my mouse pointer speed goes back to 3/11 and i always have to change it to 6/11.. does this affect "Disable mouse acceleration in Windows" and "Disable pointer precision in Windows" ?

Drivers can and do interfere with Windows settings, check the CM website for updated drivers as a possible resolution to the problem.

The guide is focused more on basics and settings than advanced gameplay techniques, I spend so much time at work and playing Diablo 3, I'm left with almost no time and incentive to upgrade this guide with "pro tips" and what not...

Low sensitivity is difficult to become accustomed to, you have to use your arm to move the mouse as opposed to just the wrist.

To be clear on the matter of sensitivity, there is no single perfect number or setting, each player will find his own sensitivity setting that works best for them, in most cases, a lower sensitivity is better, as it reduces human error and therefore allows consistent accuracy.
