gunner do take skill to play, well to me atleast

if u just charge u just die

got to plan ahead, like get on a rooftop to see where the enemy is, then throw a keg with a rocket at him to get the first lick annnnd if you can, hit him with a shotgun or the cloudmaker while he is in the air to hurt him even more , then u jump off the roof and finish the target with your MG like a boss

buttt everytime i do this ppl rage at me and say i have no skill

Camping the hill in CC spamming the RPG, keg and PP going 6-0 when your team losses by 15 or more tickets each round is no skill. I will admit thou, your a decent player when you want to be.

There are other things beside DPS with the machine guns - faster rate of fire allows you for a quick adjustment if you slide off with your reticle. With the LRMG if you miss, it kinda punishes you a bit - that's why you often see people using SR MG in certain MR encounters.
Faster RoF makes the weapon a bit more dependable when it comes to actual hits landed on a target - for that reason, I kinsa really like the MR MG - might not have a pop of the LR one, but it's still a really viable weapon, and it's free.

I'm extremely weak against Commandoes when my Leg-it is down, I pop on shield and crouch/jump/strafe all the time while zooking them, usually doesn't get the job done, then there's the mistakes of using Leg-it when a soldier has blasting strike, that usually one-shots me. Even when I pop up a lvl 5 HS, I still get one-shotted or even heavily damaged. If anything I think they are average, you just need to know how to counter every ability, unfortunately, It doesn't seem like it's working great on my part, haha.
