I find it annoying that a lot of people think gunners are an easy, spray'n'pray class that doesn't take any skill. Skilled gunners have to juggle many things, from proper ability usage to good RPG usage. When did people ever get this crazy idea?

People think that once they get some headshots on unaware enemies, or get some insta kills with BS, that this is the benchmark for real skill. Gunners don't apply.

Most people that say that gunners require, "no skill" are the people that either have a gunner at level 13 or have never even tried it....

Well, all classes are pretty easy from 1-10. Made even easier now that there are no level requirements for Super/Uber weapons, so mandos (1-10) got a huge buff.

But gunners actually get a really awesone free weapon - MRMG, that I still use in high level games. Other classes don't have the same luxury. And let's face it, not that many newbies know which weapons to choose or how to properly use them.

Because levels 1-10 all you have to do is hold down the mouse button and move your mouse randomly to get kills. After that it's just noobs trying to attack them head on instead of attacking from long range.

Yeah that's true. Gunners do have the best default weapons. But IMO the MRMG wasn't that good, I found the LRMG to out-DPS in most scenarios.

Plus...

A lot of players never take the time to actually learn how to play against gunners. So they use the "GUNNER R OP NUB CLASS!!!!" as an excuse for why they personally suck at the game.

Dude, who the hell are you? It's just a game. You're styling yourself to be this "above-it-all" guy, yet you get all jiggy cause you saw me getting a poor score on a map I hate and a team I could not get in sync with, and you just had to come here and mention it.
