False, if you can't shoot you use pistols. Not that I do.

Generally people knife because they're close to the enemy, not much more to it than that.

well i can snipe better than average but i prefer knifing and pistol whipping
pistol because there is no smoke to have your loc exposed :l

1st knife isn't overpowered. You can easily blasting strike/Leg it away/RPG jump (well if commando has lv 3-5 elixir then your sooooo screwed. But I'm personally much better with sniper so knifing is fun challenge. I disagree with maker of this thread. I normally use sniper and knife with combo. I run around the map and snipe people and after I see commando coming trough I quickly switch my knife and slice him up. Also on RR or VV its sometimes much easier to knife people.

i tthink that sniping is to easy. When I activate Piercing shot lvl 5 then i kill a commando instantly.
Knifing is way more fun, sometimes i takeout a whole group of 2 gunners and a soldier!

Knifing is no more easy mode than sniping is. Honestly for me sniping is x10 easier. Knifing is easy to do, just hard to pull off. Have to be a good pistol shot for sure or a good double knifer. Sniping, you need decent aim and PS5...done. Find sniping a lot more noob than knifing to be honest.

it's exactly what I do wrong all the time, I think I have to either shoot or knife, sometimes he's too far to knife, too close to shoot but I just try every time. It's alot better to quickly run & hide if your knifing atempt failed instead of effortlessly trying to chase your target or shoot him.

Indeed. If you want to be good at knifing, you have to be good at shooting, due to Leg It and Blasting Strike (and/or other Commandos).

Lastly, you have to take lag (and the knife's "travelling time") into account when planning your strikes, and contrary to sniping, your own movements are also crucial to success.

well, I'm pretty good knifer and shooter but I'd say that knifing is actually harder than sniping/pistoling

so FALSE
