I've been thinking the same thing, but the one thing different is that the troop traps should be in stealth untill you get to close, beause black will show up more than dark green on maps like RR or VV
Edit: For stealth, just melt away. no smoke or lightning

I've thought about this, before. I'll post the ideas I had. Feel free to add any of them to the original post.

ABILITIES -------------------------------------------------------- SUGGESTIONS


Leg It -------------------------------------------------------------- Winged shoe symbol shows above caster's head for duration. Wind effect is tinged with color of team(red for Nats, blue for Royals).
Frenzy Fire -------------------------------------------------------- A lightning bolt symbol appears above caster's head for duration. Increased amount of lightning(Surrounds the MG).
I Eats Grenades --------------------------------------------------- A symbol of a fork crossed over a grenade appears above the caster's head for the duration.
Hero Shield -------------------------------------------------------- Shield aura is colored blue for Royals and red for Nationals. Royal symbol or National symbol appears on the shield icon that appears above the caster's head.
Explosive Keg ----------------------------------------------------- Black cartoon bowling ball bomb, complete with the words "BOOM!" that appear on the explosion.



6th Sense -------------------------------------------------------- A symbol of an open eye appears above the caster's head.
Burning Bullets --------------------------------------------------- A fire aura surrounds the caster. Aura is colored blue for Royals and Red for Nationals.
Combat Medicine ------------------------------------------------- The combat medicine symbol appears above the caster's head. The health aura is colored blue for Royals and red for Nationals.
Grenade Spam --------------------------------------------------- Same as normal Grenade Spam, except the explosions are either blue(Royals) or red(Nationals)
Blasting Strike --------------------------------------------------- Along with normal Blasting Strike animations, a large yellow colored hand(fingers outstretched, palm outward) symbol pushes forward from the caster.
