Muggif - The animated mugshot creator

I proudly present Muggif. Muggif is one of my creations which allow you to make an animated Mugshot without any program except of Muggif itself. Muggif will save you hours of work you would else have spent with programs like FRAPS and Photoshop.

Not only will Muggif save you hours of work, but it is also very easy to use. Choose your settings and press start. You can even do emotes or rotate your hero or change your equip, Muggif will record every single movement you will make to enhance your personal muggif.

First of you must have installed the Java Runtime Enviroment

Then get Muggif(version 0.4.6)

FAQ
Q: If have downloaded the files but where to run it?
A: The .jar file is actually file you need to run. To be able to run It you must have the Java Runtime Environment installed. Also don't open it with an archive program (like winzip/winrar/7zip) since that won't get you start the program.

Q: I can't start the capturing. The programs keeps saying "Couldn't find the BFH menu, is it visible?"
A: Due some rendering differences from PC to PC Muggif can't find the BFH menu. This will be fixed in an upcomming patch.

Q:I have the Java Runtime Environment, but when I double-click the .jar an archive programs opens up. What to do?
A:Rename the .jar to "muggif.jar" and download the muggif.bat to the same directory, then start the muggif.bat.

Q:Muggif can not save the file. What should I do?(Win Vista/Win 7)
A:Rename the .jar to "muggif.jar" and download the muggif.bat to the same directory, then start the muggif.bat by rightclick > "Run as Administrator".

Damn, I would really like to test it, I downloaded it and started it, but it says it couldn't find the BFH menu, but it's open.
I think it's because my resolution is 1024x768. =/
Why 1280x960 had to be the minimum? >.<

I detect the background from the menu and everything below 1280x960 uses a smaller BFH menu. I'll probably make the background files for the lower resolutions tomorrow, its just alot of cut and paste work to get it all done.

However I'll promise, soon there will be a low resolution version ;D

Aw, something I've hoped what should not happen has happend, you seem to have a slightly different rendered background than I have wich results in those random dots wich where not filtered.

If someone else can test and upload a muggif so I can analyse it and see how I can fix it.

Info about the resolution and which graphics card your using might also help towards fixing it.

Do you get the menu with Framerate, Frames settings? If not you'll need to install the Java runtime enviroment first.

If you get the error that the menu is not found, please make a screenshot, upload it and send it with an PM to me so I can analyse it.

idk about resolution but graphic card i use Nvidia 8600 (something like that but i have latest version in 2009)

Yeah thats something I've also tought about for later versions, just started with this project today ;D

Hoping that its only the difference nVidia and ATI with those pixels, because else I'll need to add some more pixel removement things to it.

I'm Currently working on the fix for the random pixel because it will be probably also happening at low resolutions, but I think tommorow there will be atleast a lowres version with some random pixels. Stay tuned!

I may sound like a noob... but how do I access the program iteslf?

When i downloaded, all I got were some files. Checked them all, and nothing came up/allowed me to download the program itself. I even searched for it

Updated to 0.2

With 0.2 there is an option to reduce noise(random pixels). It will yet not remove all noise if you got the random pixel problems, but it looks far more acceptable!

Since it is java you can decompile it, If you do so you will see there isn't even any code that uses any sort of network connection.
