Considering there are numerable spots on ALL maps where you can effectivly contribute to your teams play (aswell as rack up some kills) without being seen, some of these aren't of any use to me.

I am only level 11 but my trusty rifle and I pack a punch.

what i wanted to say: use 2 pistols (short/medium or short/short) and you will be the nightmare for your enemies. well, you have to learn aiming first. REAL AIMING!
run to your enemies, fire the clip of your first pistol at them, elexir- now its very difficult to aim at you- and change pistols... and so on... if you are good (like me ;D) you can kill gunners or groups of 2 or 3 enemies with this tactic. but if you are bad, you will be a bad joke for your foes...

Sorry if anyone said this b4, but here's my reccomendation:
if you're getting into an airplane, stealth first, so that if you need to bail out, guess what? they won't see you! this can work REALLY well for you if you're high up and delay using your parachute, so you can glide over, I dunno, one of their flags or something, just remember to pull your 'chute once you can see something you're about to smash into.

Because this guide is AWESOME! (if a bit outdated. A lot of the advice is still good though!)

There is just one issue I have with it though. I believe that Poison Blade does have a use. When you're in one of those annoying knife-fights with other commandos, just one hit with Poison Blade means that even when you're lining up that next joust, the enemy is taking damage all the while. Plus, while the attack's effects do not stack, hitting the target a second time will increase the duration of the poisoning, adding still more damage, albeit over time. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong during knife-fights, but having Poison Blade just seems to grant a leg up against the pesky "other" commandos, and also evens the field a bit against the still-more annoying Uber knifers. While I would not recommend putting more than one point into it, just having it there is a bit of a solace to know I have that buff.

I should make you aware that with the set-up shown in this guide there is absolutely no room on your action bar for any more items so even if you took Poisoned Blade there would be nowhere to put it.

The way I see it, is if you can remain in stealth and Mark Target enemy Commandos, this is sufficient defense against other Commandos.

As I already stated in the past, most Commandos only use Rank 1 Mark Target, so taking a higher level (3 or 5) gives you that slight advantage that can really make a difference.

Get 5 stealth, 1 elixir and 1 piercin shot to your sniper (works on any sniper ) don't use poisoned blade on lower lvls, chuz you need your HP to other skills, after this you should get Troop Trap and Mark Target, after those you should put the elixir higher, after that get higher Troop trap and Mark target, or Piercing shot.
PS:Yes, just like the Jester told in he's quide, But it works!

To better state the above quote. Your guide does not tell you how to play, merely reflects a playstyle preferred by a certain player (JeSTeRP1). Many people will not find knifing to their liking and will want to experiment with the points they have in finding the right combination of points. JeSTeRP1 has taken the time to make a guide he feels comfortable with, playstyle wise, and has shared it to show you the pros and cons of certain things. Use it with your knowledge and surely you'll find something you like

PS I'm installing the game as we speak. Haven't had any experience whatsoever and will end up making a knifer and sniper commando. I have 4 slots for a reason

I picked commando since I like to be a Old-Dirty-Bastard Ka-NIFER.

Why so many stealth?
I have spread alot of my points out, but I'm losing. I think your right...But I don't know why.
Most of the time its the gunners that rape me.....(Stupid LMG'S =P)
