yep my friend says he has this all the time... it really only happens to me sometimes and always when i record... but i can play most other games with zero issues.... and i use more CPU memory and GPU power for those games than this game :/

I got this problem too, it's frustrating. I tried everything explained in the forum, killing all unnecessary process, updating punkbuster and all the devices, I unistalled the antivirus, I reinstalled Win XP, I installed BH in another partition whit seven, i switched my audiocard(I had a realtec AC 97 audiocard), i changed punkbuster sleep time, i tryed another connection, and no change every 10-15s i got 2-3s lag.
And i played online Battlefield 1942(whit all expansion) for years, Battlefield 2142, Battlefield 2, Battlefield play4free, Crysis...etc. on the same PC, and i had no problem.
I wanna play BH lag-free!!!

This happend to me in January up till April. All i did was make a new user account on my pc and transfer files to the new one and deleted old one. If it dosen't work type in computer search (Windows Memory Diagnostic) this should fix it. If solution is not fixed try a system recovery use at own Risk!

I have been unable to play this game for over a year due to this crap bug. I've spent $200+ on this game and to no avail, I still can't play. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared cache, etc. I don't have the greatest computer, but I play other games that use more than this game does. I even play BFP4F with no problems and that game is buggy as under a rock. They have said that they will fix this over and over and still have done nothing. I will never give any of my money to EA or any EA affiliate again.

I get a lot of freezes.

When I join it's 20-40 seconds before I can play on many servers and then in game I get a lot of little freezes or even disconnects and I can see my CPU/GPU are not being taxed by BFH and my 20mb internet connection isn't dropping a single ping (running a constant ping to googles DNS and to a level 3 dns server 8.8.8.8 and 4.2.2.2).

If it's a server marked as being hosted by "Branzone" I know I'm going to have issues. Not to knock them, I've know idea what sort of host they are, probably great but this seems to be something I see a lot and would make me think it's a sever side issue.

i have amd athlon 64 2.20ghz 1gb ram nividia??? 512 video card runing on windows xp sp3 it dosent mather when you play on lov or high graphicks it alvays freeze for 4~ sec when i join the game and about 2 times in every minute..

i finally got the game fixed from the encountered error and must close issue only to find that when i attempt to play now i get such bad lag spikes so often its not even worth playing anymore. its always when i engage in a firefight so i get wasted. all started after last update. LAME!!!!!

Its f#@$ing unplayable now form...Lots of lags, freezes, problem with connections... its since 1-2 weeks. My ping is good, my pc is bran new (also good) and everything is fine with my net connection either. When they will fix this?
