Commando tips!

I think you should have included extra tips for knifing, as thats what lots of mandos do

Your character is invisible, but your parachute certainly is not! Beware, try to open your parachute as close to the ground as you safely can so that the other team has little time to spot you.

your parachute is invisible. I've never been spotted before dropping with a chute even if I drop on a Gunner's head.

Okay, that's strange, because I seem to see parachute that have invisible people at the bottom of them. If a commando uses stealth after the parachute opens, does the parachute still remain visible?

tip:when at close quarters with a soldier or gunner try to sneak up behind your enemy unseen to give them those decisive blows!
2.when you are knifing anyone and they automatically start shooting,go from one side to another hitting them as you!

I think they make GREAT wingmen.. like in... Where did that anoing mando go? ahh there
I almost always f2 MT+TT f1 on all attacks from above when i play flyin mando myself.

When you are low lvl you have to be a sniper until lvl 10 when you can get lvl 5 stealth and 1 elixier. the you can MURDER people in close combat. i've got 30/6 with a lvl 10 on PP.

-Introduction-
Okay so I'm making a guide for commandos on the royal side of the field. It can be applied to nationals too, but I made it with Royals in mind.


-Overview-
The commando class is very important in any attack, not only for recon, but for overall support and spotting. This guide will not teach you how to sit in a spot and camp, it will teach you how to aid your team and still earn points while you’re at it.
So lets review the commando class.

Pitted against the soldier or gunner healthwise, you are the weakest class on the field. Your chances of survival are quite slim, unless you bunny hop like crazy. The gun you carry –The sniper rifle- is the most powerful weapon in the game. Two well placed shots on your target and they will die like crazy. The secondary weapon you get at the start of the game is the knife. As soon as you can buy the pistol the custom one is a very good secondary weapon. It has saved me in close combat many a time. On top of that you have the stealth ability - The default ability - which can be upgraded five times. Each upgrade makes you a lot harder to detect. Shooting or throwing any projectile besides the troop trap will result in you de-cloaking-

-Tactic’s-

As tempting as it sounds the lighthouse on seaside skirmish and the tower on victory village is suicide. You will be lucky if you kill two people before another commando plants a bullet in your brain.

-Make yourself a smaller target by crouching whenever your going to engage enemy from long ranges. It makes you harder to detect by counter snipers. Rocks and any other kind of cover is very useful as well.

I see you – When you kill a target, they can use the camera to detect your position. Try and go behind a rock or a tree to cripple his/her view site to make you harder to locate.

Shoot bang switch – Change position for every person you kill. It will make you very hard to kill. Set up a small route. e.g a rock, a tree and a building. For every kill you make the switch and people will not be able to accurately find you.
-DO NOT CAMP-

I often see many a commandos just sitting there shooting everyone who comes into their line of sight while the rest of the team is getting torn to shreds. As a commando you’re the guiding eye for your team. Use mark target to tell your team where hostiles are hiding. Constantly engage soldiers who are attacking your team. Help capture flags. These simple actions can easily win a match.

- Commandos dont make great wingmen, because they don't have machine guns or rpg's. The best you could do is drop TNT or parasail into action.

yo as far as that bang switch if you get good enough you can drop four to five people before switching i usually stay in one spot until my cloak comes back up but there is a downfall to this other than getting killed.......... cloaking takes a second to recharge and if your not in a good hidden spot such as behind a tree in the shadows over looking the whole field then it's pointless to fire a single round makes sure that you have multiple targets so when you frop one you can swiftly move to the next one and drop another

Id also recommend the grenade launcher as well. That weapon gets me out of trouble a few times when it comes to a tank or a soldier or two. Id also prefer the knife instead cos of the stealth kills on unsuspecting soldiers
